Dino Ong, who resides in Singapore currently, produces and writes his own music under the name DION. Starting in 2013 as a recording and mix engineer for local rock bands, and then moving on to electronic and pop production. With a hunger to explore further, he found a deep passion for cinematic music, which led him to composing for TV and trailers. His experience with Rock, Electronic and Pop production has enabled him to create a unique blend of cinematic music with a modern edge. Dion gravitates towards darker, more aggressive styles that fit well in dystopian, futuristic or fantasy settings. His dream is to evolve music as much as possible, by pushing boundaries, bending rules, and fusing genres to create something unheard of.
